I also have to have an aisle sear - I get really claustrophobic if I'm

hemmed in - I have spent many a flight standing at the back, and it

makes me crazy when the meals are served and the cart blocks my escape

route. I take along my codeine, just in case, and if the time of day

is right, I always have wine. Probably shouldn't be mixing the two,

but hours of misery are not an option!

Ditto on taking pain meds (I take Vicoden ES) for a flight and having an

aisle seat, plus I travel with my assistance/service dog, a german sheppard.

I usually am put into the bulkhead with more leg room for me and the dog

with an empty seat beside me, and don't have to pay anything extra (ADA

Laws). Flying is really hard, but made easier with the meds every time.
