:

Check out this pharmocological site that I have used many times. I have a

Medications Web site

linked to my RLS web site at http://www.mLists.net/judson/rls.html and the site

for the

information on Neurotin (Gabapentin) is

http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/gabapent.htm. Hope

that this helps. I had good success with Neurontin when I was taking it, and

other than a little

weight gain, that was the only noticeable side effect that I had.

Thanks so much, on and to all of you that have had me in your prayers,

sent cards, etc. I am finally on my way back to good health. Seems that this

sinus problem has been going on for a long time and there was a lot of

infection, scar tissue from previous infections over the years, etc. My doctor

had to do some major cleaning up and reconstruction, but I am honestly feeling

better physically than I have in a couple of years. Another really strange thing

is that I am completely drug-free now for almost a week, except an antibiotic

that I'm still taking, and I have had no RLS symptoms in several weeks. I

originally attributed this to the strong pain medications that they had me on in

the hospital and after the surgery, but I cannot explain why I am still having

no RLS attacks. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I'm just basking in the

relief after suffering horribly with this affliction for 20 some-odd years. I am

back and getting stronger every day.

Hope this finds everybody doing well and getting some restful nights.

Jodi,

1) Welcome back.

2) Interesting about the meds... When I've been on antibiotics I often

notice a drastic lessening of my Fibromyalgia symptoms. I dont recall any

change in RLS symptoms. I'll be interested in hearing others' experiences

with antibiotics.
