Guest guest
Thanks to all of you who responded to my request for information about mirapex and insomnia (and to Barbara for being a pack rat and for sharing). It certainly is clear that mirapex does cause insomnia. Isn't it ironic that I (we) sought relief for insomnia caused by rls and the best treatment available increases the rls (daytime) and causes insomnia. I must have been very bad in a previous life! I go to my neurologist on Monday. My hunch is that he won't want to prescribe any other medication. Why is it that when I go to a doctor I feel like an addict looking for a fix. All I want is my human right to sleep! Thank you all for you support. (I guess that's why they call this a " support group " . DUH.
