Guest guest
Diane, I can relate to your misery so much. There is nothing like being up so long at night with this awful nerve-twitching feeling grabbing at you and grinding away inside your body. I have had many nights like this where I stood at the keyboard and wrote of my anguish to the group. Somehow, it does something for some of us to tell someone about it....particularly someone who will understand. When you feel so wierd and can't stand still, a trip to the fridge is always comforting.....lol........after all, if you had dinner at 6 and been up for 8 or 9 hours since, it's time for another meal!! I wish I could tell you how to stop this, but I can't. My only advice is to get up as soon as you feel the attack coming on. You have a much better chance of stopping it then. After that, just try to have some things lined up that you really do enjoy doing, so that they will hold your attention for a while. I have been fortunate enough to be able to get on line most times this happens, and can surf around for interesting thing to see or do. Other times, I just give in and take medication that I know will help me Don't understand about the hot water........I can't see where a little tea would hurt you........not a lot of sugar in it, but a little milk or creamer would be good.........I suppose almost any warm drink is soothing, but not plain hot water...........not for me anyway........:-) I hope you have a good night tonight........that's the rule around here, you know......you can't have two real bad nights in a row.........now remember that everybody............
