Guest guest
I had an interesting moment this morning. I'm altering and fixing costumes for another dance competition this weekend. One belongs to my daughter who kept complaining the shoulder seam was way too rough and scratched her. The costume does use some unusual material, but I had kept fingering the seam myself to figure out what the problem was and it didn't feel that bad. But, since she wouldn't stop mentioning it, I decided to fix it. Well, I kept " fingering " that seam and shaking my head and thinking, why is she complaining so much???? Then for some odd reason I rubbed the offending seam across my cheek. BINGO!!!! I felt with my cheek what she was feeling with her shoulder. And it didn't feel good - it was really hard and rough like she said. My fingers weren't feeling anything in the fabric like my cheek could. Guess I shouldn't rely on my fingers anymore to " feel " my way through a problem.. And I've found a new use for my cheek! Have a great day everyone.
