If any of you need surgery, you should probably stop taking herbal

medications at least 2 - 3 weeks before surgery. A number of

anesthesiologists have reported observing substantial changes in heart rate

or blood pressure in some patients who were taking herbal medications,

notably St. 's wort, gingko biloba and ginseng. It is sad when people

use herbal products that they believe will provide a health benefit but, in

fact, may jeopardize their lives during surgery.

, My Dr. just recommended Ambrotose a glyconutritional dietary

supplement to aid with the RLS and Fibromyalgia. (Not that they need

any assistance, thank you very much!) Do you have any opinion on

this supplement? Can it hurt? Can it help? Is it just hype?

What do you think?

Thanks for allowing your brain to be picked.

,

Yep, it goes by the name of Ambrotose...Ever heard of that one? I

hope so because I hate to put things into me (besides diet caffeine

free Pepsi) that are loaded with things I don't know anything about!

Thanks in advance.
