Quinine is often used for leg cramps. Before RLS became recognized, many

Docs would give quinine for RLS. In most RLS patients, quinine doesn't

help their symptoms. Some RLS patients swear by it. It doesn't do

anything for PD, but it doesn't usually aggravate PD. As long as quinine

helps your husband's leg cramps, let him take it.
