Guest guest
Hi, Jeanie ... Your story reminded me of the time I had a business lunch meeting with some high falootin' guys. After lunch, on the way out the parking lot, I fell right in front of everyone. Geeze, I ruined my pants and really tore up my knees ... bled all over and was hurting real bad. I was so embarrassed ... and I was about 70 miles from home. That was a miserable drive home. I see you are in Oregon ... what part? I sold new homes in the Salem area last year for a builder friend of mine. My Grand kids call me " Papa " so therefore the name: " Oregonpapa. " Ella says hi ... Guest guest
Hi , This is Jeanie... On June 18th I was finishing up a very pleasant visit with Libby in Arkansas. I had given her a good-bye hug and went to turn around to get my bags off her counter and down I went. Apparently my foot didn't swivel with me and so I tripped over my own foot. Then as I'm going down I see her 9 year old son on the floor where I am falling to and so I try to twist and miss him. LOL He had a terrified look on his face. Luckily I only sat on half of him istead of landing in the middle of him. I was more concerned about him than I was about myself. Butttttt, as soon as I realized he was fine.... The pain hit. I had messed up my hand and my knees, later I felt it in my back. VERY EMBARRASSING!!!! Looking back it was funny... Poor Martha & Libby (they also have CMT) felt so bad for me. Both thier husbands were outside when I fell and Libby's daughter went out and told them that one of us fell. I can imagine the look on thier faces. The only women in the house to fall all had CMT and mean't problems when a fall happend. After Murray (Martha's husband from COlorado) splinted my fingers I was on my way agian. Took the rest of the day and into the evening for my body to finally quit shaking. Thank-goodness the fall was on my last day and not my first. LOL , Glad you weren't hurt any worse than you were. I also have a cat (kityprrr) and she takes care of me at home when I fall or am depressed.... Take care all....
