Guest guest
Kids are such a mixed blessing. I had mine before I'd even heard of CMT. My two eldest sons have it. They also had nystagmus which I conveniently blamed my ex husband for, that was until I found out. My youngest who has just turned nine, remembers events in our lives with when Mummy could walk and when Mummy couldn't. However, he does have such an incredible awareness (naturally) of disabliltiy. He said to me last night that when he grows up he's going to do sponsered walking to raise money for people like Mummy. I gave him a big hug and said thank you from all people with CMT. Sue P.S He can be a little swine as well. Re: offspring > I absolutely understand how you feel. I'm still so > absolutely unsure I want to have children at any point > in my life.
