Guest guest
Hi, On Vioxx coming out mid-June, remember Duract, just over year ago was going to put the pain meds on the shelf with dust too; that is if you didn't mind a liver transplant with the deal! Guest guest
Hello everyone. Well it's three in the mornig and i've only got two hours of sleep so far and my boyfriend ended up on the couch for a couple of hours the time that i finally slept. I guess in my short amount of time in bed i pretty well knocked him around or should i say my legs did a number on him. Anyway wanted to pass along something i read this evening in our local paper. There is a new prescribed painkiller coming out in mid-june called Vioxx sounds like this one is gonna put other painkillers on the shelf covered with dust. Wanted to know do many in the group take painkillers because of the pain associated with the leg? I know i tried tylenol with codeine and it never did a thing for me or is it safer to not take them? Right now i don't know if this antidepressant switch they are doing on me is helping me in any way i'm feeling the change in my body and mind and wondering if they are the reason of my leg suffering? My legs have gotten worse since i started to wean off one med and try and begin a new one? I applied for a medical assitance program and hoping in a few weeks that i got approved if so could you please tell me how to go about figuring out what kind of doctor to see for a sleep study? I know alot have said on the group about a sleep study but, i need to know where to begin so please give me some advise on where to start before i go absolutely crazy here!! The " secret " is not to be the first one on the bandwagon but then again, you don't want to be the last one either, eh? RAINBOWPED@... Guest guest
When the highly touted painkiller came out called Celebrex, it was supposed to be the greatest and put all other painkiller in the dust, but I am aspirin sensitive, so could not take it due to that interaction. Then after awhile several people died, and they are reconsidering it. Watch something new for awhile before taking it. I have RLS and chronic pain and chronic depression along with a brain injury, from a car accident. Take oxycontin and vicoden ES for pain, but still struggle with pain. For really bad attacks the doctor gives me a little bit of dilaudid at a time to use (10 pills at a time). Good Luck.
