You probably did a lot of people a good service. It is easy to believe scary stories and misinformation. We are used to trusting people. With the internet we are learning to be more cautious. Many people believed this one, even some news people so did not look it up to see if it was true. I wish people who make up these hoaxes would choose to use their time to do good for society instead of trying to worry people. The smart person knows to ask questions if s/he doesn't know the answers. You did good - as we say over here. Kat
Guest guest
Rose, You should not feel funny about writing about aspartame. A local radio show devoted an hour to the entire subject. I have eliminated aspartame for my diet because I was getting headaches from it, but it you think about it logically, I don't think our bodies were meant to ingest all the chemicals and additives. It is a known fact that our food today is nutritionally deficient and then we go and ZAP it in the microwave and destroy it even more. All sorts of ailments and infirmities are on the rise and we can blame it on a whole lot of things, poor diet maybe one of them. But I think you brought up a very good point. Though aspartame might be good to reduce calories, it is of no benefit nutritionally to anyone. a
