Guest guest
Hi Guys, First off, thanks for all the useful feeback on Pramipexole and RLS! It's not available here in South Africa but we are looking into the permax (pergolide) options etc.. We'll keep you posted. Some family observations, I'm not sure how relavant they are but maybe others will say hey we've noticed this too... 1. My mother-in-law has an intention tremor, has had it for a long time. 2. Her mother has mild parkinsonian symptons (tremor in the hands, slight pill rolling, shuffling gait, shaking jaw) but has never been diagnosed as such. 3. Her mother's late brother had PD. Most of the " specialists " my mother-in-law has seen vehemently deny any connection between PD and RLS or that it's hereditary, but this all seems too much of a coincidence We are busy finding out from the other family members who might have the tremor or possible symptoms of RLS, they are all up country so it's taking a while. Does anyone else suffer from an intention tremor in the hands and if so is this often seen in RLS sufferers? Thanks in advance joe van niekerk Cape Town South Africa
