Guest guest
We drove Dr Levin out, Ed quit, and who knows how many others have quit with all of the jokes, etc that have been on. There have been too many " you should do this, and you should do that. " It seems like what I have experienced over the last year has been very watered down. Count me as another on who no longer wants to get all of this email. If I want jokes, etc I can look at AOL email. Thank you Jodi for all of the hard work you have done to start this group and for keeping it going. Hope all is well with you. Guest guest
Larry, I fail to understand why you or anyone else needs to announce they are leaving, and then lay the blame on others. There are many people here who are going through hell every day and night because of rls and other problems - some related, some not, who really knows, and I think it's terrible that you feel the need to shut them up, and then take off in a huff. Leaving is your option, but you are showing insensitivity, unkindness, and disregard for other's feelings by blasting us in the process. I hope you haven't made anyone feel guilty for sharing their feelings, advice, and HUMOR. I hope you haven't driven someone into a feeling of isolation by attempting to close down whatever it is YOU don't like. Maybe certain personalities DON'T belong in a group like this - if the need to control is stronger than the desire to listen and share, then it's not for you. Keep in mind however, that it's your problem, not the fault of anyone else. ne, 59, Lawrenceville, NJ ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Guest guest
I beg to differ with you! I'm fairly new to the group so I don't know about Dr. Levin OR Ed for that matter, and what caused them to leave. But I for one, happen to enjoy a little humor now and then. Mind you, I'm not saying that we should have it all the time, but I did happen to enjoy it when we'd had the Joke of the day! Where ever that came from, I don't know, but life without humor, is no life at all. And as far as the " you should do this or you should do that " well nobody ever said that you HAD to do ANY of it. I think that everyone that writes in and expresses what they are going thru and what they are taking and " this works for me....BUT maybe not for you " type of thing, is what we're all about. Isn't it? We're here to MAYBE find out something new, POSSIBLY find someone who actually is feeling the same way we are, but most of all to get the encouragement and support from everyone to be able to say " Hey, I'm not alone, I'm not crazy, I'm not the only one! " And then you feel relief, at least for a little while. OK, sorry, I probably got a little carried away and off track, but maybe I didn't. Apologizes to whomever I might have pissed off, I didn't mean too. Kristy, 43 Fountain Hills, AZ

Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I may be to new to the group to comment but I just feel I have to. First isn't this supposed to be a support group? And if so support to me comes in all shapes, sizes, and flavors. I kinda take this like TV. if I don't like what I see when I open the mail I don't read it. How tough is that? I for example don't have much in common with the people in the group who discuss their medications....since I don't take any. I don't feel like I should say " Hey, don't quit sending out letters about all your doses and medications! " I just don't read them or I just skim through them. So if someone feels like they don't like to read jokes or someone opinion that doesn't jive with their own...that's what that little delete button is for. I for one enjoy being a part of something that brings some relief for sleepless nights in what ever form. Raine
