Guest guest
Jan These are the side effects of Klonopin. When I took this medication I was very depressed. Getting off this drug was worse it is addictive the and less you take the better. I was taking 3 mg before bed. When I started taking medication I bought a drug reference program just to check the side effects and sometimes they are worse than the disease. Hope this helps. Rodney NEPA Side Effects:Indigestion, change in appetite, nausea, seizures, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, tiredness or weakness may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. Mood changes, sleeplessness, excessive hair growth or loss of hair, blurred vision, dry mouth, sore gums, increased sex drive, muscle pain, and weight changes may also occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop skin rash, double vision, unusual eye movements, severe weakness, swelling of the face, hands or feet, increased salivation, hallucinations, incoordination, a rapid or pounding heartbeat, breathing trouble or difficulty speaking while taking this medication. All benzo's can cause physical addiction; however, I prefer to think that in most RLS'ers, benzo's cause more of physical dependency. Xanax is probably one of the worst in causing physical/mental/emotional dependency but the docs keep prescribing it anyhow. As a general rule, the longer acting benzo's are not quite as bad as the shorter acting benzo's in terms of causing a dependency state. Addiction actually refers to someone who abuses an drug and/or uses it for unintended purposes. RAINBOWPED@...

Guest guest
Group, I take klonipin also (3mg) a night and don't seem to have any depression. The only side effect I can't get rid of is hair loss, but taking yeast (B vitiman) seems to help. I am afraid of the day when it stops working and I will have to get off. I know it is a stincker!!!!
