Guest guest
Hi All, I'm curious to know how many of us feel NEVER relaxed... besides me. Am I the only hyper-vigilant among us?!!! Colette, 52, fibro and RLS, S. FLorida
Guest guest
Hi Colette Yep, I'm one of those also. I never seem to be relaxed...always holding something tightly. If I concentrate on letting things go, one at a time, I can feel whatever it is that I have been tensing. Usually that is my shoulders and neck. Which is probably why I constantly have a " stiff neck " feeling. Oh well, better than no neck at all ))))))) hehehehe Jude 57, where the rain has just stopped and the temp is a balmy
Guest guest
Ok, so I'm never relaxed, thin & also have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome - anyone else? Colette
Guest guest
Colette, Yup, count me as another never relaxed person. I especially notice that my jaw is tightly clenched, especially when I first wake up, so it's probably like that all night long. When trying to go to sleep, I will open my mouth a bit just to relax the jaw. Fidgeting has been a constant for me since early childhood, and according to my mother, from the day I was born! My heart rate and blood pressure are also high, and I suspect my adrenalin level is always in a go mode. Maybe rls is the neurological form of the fidgets. There are just so many areas to research, it's no wonder that real cause and effect has not been established. ne, 58, Lawrenceville, NJ ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Guest guest
Guess You can count me in on the never relaxed bit. My husband is always commenting on how I will be (driving) in the passenger seat. Im always tapping my fingers on a wall or flicking passing cars. These actions annoy both my daughter and my husband. I'm also on the thin side and walking on the treadmill at a local gym. I walk for 40min at 4mph and go at a grade of 8 to 9.2. I'm determined to get down to 115lbs by late spring. Right now I'm at 125, so I know it's doable. I also fluctuate between RLS and CFS. My husband says that I'm never the same person. I hold my breath as I want (soooo much) to tell him that he is very moody too. For now, Louise Winton, CA 49yrs for 11 more days

According to my mother, I had a severe case of the " fidgets " for several months BEFORE I was born! And I haven't stopped squirming for 53 years here in western NY state. (only 52 until March, but I guess I should consider my RLS age to be 53).
