Neurontin & liver function

Dick:

In a message to Donna, you recently indicated that Depakote had various

side-effects, including liver toxicity. You also mentioned that

Neurontin could serve the same purpose without the side effects.

However, I was under the impression that Neurontin could also cause liver

damage, and that the liver function needed to be checked periodically as

long as one was on the Neurontin; am I mistaken?
