Guest guest
Hello all, I haven't written for some time, but read every day. I had no problems getting SSD. I worked in a nursing home as activities director and had to move residents about. I thought it was unsafe for me to do that type of work. Also, I was 55 years old. So, I think the kind of job you do and how close you are to retiring is a large factor in getting SSD. My mother, also CMT, and I both started taking neuronton. It did wonders for Mom but nothing for me. I go regularly to the pediatrist for toenail reductions. Last visit he put foot powder on my feet and I was slipping and sliding so much I could hardly get to the chair were I was going to put on my socks and shoes with AFOs. This experience taught me -- watch out for powder on the floor. It is slippery. Keep well, Joan
