waterproof AFOS ?

Since I don't wear AFOs, but only in-shoe orthotics, what do those of

you who wear full AFOs do in the summer? Can you get them wet? Like, can

you sit by the side of a pool and dangle your feet and legs in the

water? Or, can you go wading in a pool or the ocean with them on? I have

only seen 1 person with CMT wearing AFOs and they were made of plastic,

but the straps seemed to be something else. I was thinking about those

of you with AFOs and can they get wet and not ruined? Also, in the

summer, are they hot on your legs?
