Nothing can negate a true " message " . However, these difficulties may make you less than the appropriate messenger. If you are uncomfortable with, or not finding helpful, the discussion in the rls list then you can do as you have done which is to unsubscribe. It is appropriate to say " I have found thus and such to be helpful " It is not appropriate to tell people they are consumed with their illness. I have been dealing personally with cancer for the past six years. I have been meditating, living a " spiritual " and natural lifestyle for over twenty years. I have lived in a Vedanta retreat center and A Sufi intentional community. In addition I have been a professional bodyworker/healer for ten years. Last year after dilligently following many alternative paths I had to make the difficult decision to have surgery and take chemotherapy. I also had to struggle with watching my little sister go the " straight AMA " route and die a very difficult death from pancreatic cancer last year when I knew that nothing that they think that they know would help her. The most effective teachers I have known are not hyper nor do they feel driven to pass on their message. They simply live it and draw to themselves seekers, effortlessly, by the light of their very existence. I wish you peace.
