Guest guest
Dear group, Are there any seasoned air travelers out there? I'm seeking advice on the following: a. Has any one flown Japan Airlines recently? (to Japan, approx. 11 hours flight time) b. Are the JAL 747's configured the same way as continental 747's? (the booking agent thought that perhaps there is less leg room because of tighter seat arrangements but she wasn't sure.) c. Are bulkhead seats in a 747 really the best way to go, for leg room etc. (I usually prefer a window seat so that I can lean against it while 'trying' to sleep) d. Are the bulkhead seats usually reserved for squalling babies?( Not that I don't love children!) e. Does anyone have a preferred seat on a 747 that they always ask for? That's about it for my most recent obsessive travel worries, for now. I hope to travel to Tokyo this summer and my last trans Atlantic flight was living hell. This one will be at least two hours longer. I am better controlled with meds lately, but find long sitting still brings on the RLS symptoms. Thanks for any tips you might have.
