Guest guest
Good afternoon, Group....... Since we have been working on defining our method of communication to make it simpler and less time-consuming for all to read their e-mail, I want to take the time to thank everyone who has had any input. I know that your suggestions have helped me a considerably. As I am approaching the time when I will be needing to spend less and less time on the computer, it is important to me that time on here is used more efficiently. I know that many of you are in the same position, and I have one more thought that possibly might help things even more. It's just a small thing....... When you are sitting there thinking about what you are going to write in the Subject space, give a little thought to whether the whole group needs to read what you are going to say, or whether it should just go to one person. I am as guilty as anyone of this, but quite often a word of thanks, or just a comment about something someone has said....things of this nature......could go straight to the person they are directed to, and not to the whole group. How many letters have you opened that have something such as " Sinemet " on the subject line....and then it is Mr. X thanking Mrs. Y for mentioning something. This can add up in the long run to quite a bit of time and effort that might be important to someone....particularly those who are paying for on-line time by the minute. I know that this is already mentioned in the guidelines for posting in this group, but most of us are not looking at these guidelines once read, and they can be easily forgotten. That's it, Guys.......hope everyone is having a great day! Connie, 61, MD
