Guest guest
Hello All, We have the three H's, hot, hazy and humid. Ideal for RLS-not!! I will need to find shelter since I do not have A/C. On the 4th of June I wrote about the findings of my daughters sleep study and the after math of of having her blood drawn for a check of her Ferritin level. I suppose I did not convey the seriousness of what happened to her. She did not just " faint " .She became rigid, gray. Her eyes were rolling around her head, with almost sezure-like body movements. She was verbally unresponsive. Her Cardiologist, who just happened to be in the area, had that look of concern that you don't want to see-catch my drift! Bluntly, it scared the shit out of me!This had happened before, and she was rushed by rescue to the hospital. This time she had no warning. She can usually catch herself when she's lightheaded/dizzy.This was much different and she has no recolection of the incident except the moment before. When I had seen Dr. Ehrenburg in Boston and had mentioned 's sleep difficulties (prior to sleep study), her migraines and this " vaso vagal syncope " , he seemed to think that it all stemmed from possible sleep deprivation. Of course this will be followed up with both her cardiologist and Dr.Owens, her sleep doc. So there's a better explanation of my previous e-mail and maybe I'll get a response that deals with the actual subject matter vs my maternal paranoia.I know that Fathers care and my Mother doesn't call me either.
