Unless you really had data for a large number of people (a lot of people who have RLS and were administered ether) and compared that data to people with RLS who had been exposed to other factors, trauma, genetic history) and to people who had had ether but who didn't have RLS, then it would be next to impossible to connect the two, ether and RLS.
