I think that this message was meant to go to the entire group, not just me,

so I am forwarding it on. I hope I'm right, Colette, if not, I'm sorry.

Since I had 2 surgeries before age 7,

I was wondering if any other RLS folks

could maybe trace their onset to ether (back in

the 50s it was the anesthesia of choice, no?)

Still searching for the key to it all, Colette, 52, RLS & Fibro

Jodi,

I had ether when I was three but RLS runs in my family. Unless you

really had data for a large number of people (a lot of people who have

RLS and were administered ether) and compared that data to people with

RLS who had been exposed to other factors, trauma, genetic history)

and to people who had had ether but who didn't have RLS, then it would

be next to impossible to connect the two, ether and RLS.
