Guest guest
Hi Kat, these Quies earplugs are soft, they are sort of a light wax stuff, I don't know the exact ingredient. They come wrapped in cotton, you just peel off the cotton, then you can either cut them in half with scizzors or use whole. They are the best ones I have found - best noise reduction level. I mean I can still hear the phone ring, and the dogs barking at a burgular for instance, but all those aggravating noises are greatly muffled - like the noise on airplanes, or the gardener's blowing and mowing. I think I paid about $8.95 for a box of 20. And they last a very long time.
