Guest guest
Hi , I am in the process of switching from Prozac to Zoloft for this very reason - Prozac is supposed to be the worst antidepressant in terms of exacerbating RLS (info from my neurologist who is an expert in RLS). That doesn't mean that everyone who has RLS is going to experience worsening of their symptoms if they take Prozac, but apparently a significant number of people do. I will try and remember to let you all know what happens with my RLS as I get the Prozac out of my system. Guest guest
I know that everyone is different, but I do not think that there is much difference in Prozac & Zoloft when it comes to RLS. They both bothered me, but the Zoloft especially made me crazy. I really think it's the old " different strokes for different folks " thing. Prozac, Paxil. Zoloft, & Effexor all made me worse. Serzone did not make my RLS worse, but it made me so sick I could not continue. I TRY to run at least every other day and this helps keep the depression at bay. If I felt it coming on, (the depression) I would take an anti-dep., if it was necessary to keep me out of the " pit " . That's a real " catch 22 " . To stay " undepressed " or stay " unrestless " .
