Guest guest
Hi Group, Went to the Neuro yesterday. A Nice guy, but 100% business. No chit chat. That's ok though. He listened to my background, then did a complete nervous system exam, which was of course normal. He explained that he could order liver and kidney function tests, as well as an MRI from head to toe, but didn't believe it was required. He said any secondary problem, would have manifested itself in some other way by this time in my life. Therefore, the clinical diagnoses...... " RLS " . Imagine my surprise. Anyway, the meds. First, I have to tell you, that I do not have symptoms every nite. So, he didn't want to put me on something that would stop them from occurring, if I was only going to have two episodes this week anyway. So, he prescribed Klonopin, .5 mg. To be taken as needed. In other words, take one when the symptoms begin. We'll see how this works. Haven't gotten the script filled yet. I've got to go to town later this afternoon. Anyone else taking meds, as needed? /49/Va.
