Guest guest
Hi, I had done this surgery in January. I left hospital after 2 weeks but walked on crutches for another 6 weeks. I had a lot of pain and swelling. My toes are straight now except the big toe on the right foot and this makes complications when slipping in shoes. One big contra is that I lost my balance after the surgery and I still haven' t got it back as it was before. Now, nearly 6 months later it is difficult for me to say if I would do this again. I am not able to walk for longer time because then my feet start to hurt. They don' t swell so much anymore but sometimes I have got the feeling they are swollen and this is not so nice. As I said before my balance fully is not back again and if I am stressed or tired I can' t keep it. So at the moment I would say it was better before. One pro is that I haven' t fallen yet but there are days when I think that if I am not concentrating I would fall. One pro for you could be that you are young ( I am not old, only 28 but it is said, that teenagers have less problems than adults). If you have any questions just contact me. On July, 17th I have my after surgery-visit in the hospital. I am curious what they will tell me. Best wishes from Germany, bamacoe99@... schrieb: > Hi I am an 18 year old male.
