Guest guest
Folks - This is in no way meant to put down a good suggestion, but just to say (if you aren't familiar with severe depression) that it is very difficult to go out and help anyone when you can't see a light at the end of the tunnel. Once you're in the process of recovery, this is a good idea, along with exercise, good nutrition, and (don't we wish) enough rest. Depression gets to a point where (in my case), you can feel like you are walking on broken legs, and the pain from having to converse with people and attempt to act " normal " is simply more than you can bear. This truly needs professional help, but many of us feel so isolated, because as with RLS, too many folks with good intentions just don't have a clue, and want to suggest things that are impossible for us to do. When I was in severe depression, I think if one more person had told me to " take a walk " , that would have been the end. If anything could be more of a " hell " to go through than depression or RLS, it's the two of them together. I know this is not a depression support group, but these two diseases are so closely intertwined, that one must address them. Again please, this is not to offend anyone, just to inform.
