soft tissue surgery

I had the soft tissue surgery when I was about 11 years old. That was

about 1963 or so. Back then I had to have a cast on each foot + leg for

what seemed like the whole summer. It just hurt to walk once the casts

were taken off, but I entered school that fall OK. That was my only

surgery, so my experience is limited and rather dated. I just need to

wear in-shoe orthotic inserts in my shoes now, but that's a small price

to pay. I get around OK now, walk, bike, garden, etc. I would suggest

you get 2 or 3 opinions of surgeons and ask all kinds of questions.
