Guest guest
Hi Muriel, For the first few months of taking mirapex, I also had muscle and joint pain. Dr. Levin, who was in our group at the time, told me it was a side effect of mirapex. Soon after that the pain went away, for the most part. I'm like you - i would hate to stop taking it, as it works better than anything else I've tried Probably not a drug anywhere without some kind of side effect! ne, 59, Lawrenceville, NJ. ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. Guest guest
As a point of comparison, I've also taken Mirapex for several weeks with no side effects. Since my physician increased the dosage from .125 to .375 mg HS, it seems to do a good job of quieting the nerve impulses with a bonus of giving me some incredibly interesting dreams. (I didn't notice any changes for the better at .125 mg.) I run 2 - 4 miles per day, six days a week, and lift weights several times also. I take Naprosyn for lower back pain, and I haven't noticed that pain increasing or decreasing since starting Mirapex. the Shrink, 55, DWF TX
