Re- uncontrollable itching

I also have experienced periods of intense itching for as about as

long as I have had RLS. But I cannot say that I have noticed that the

occurrence or intenstity of one has been related to the other. The

most common and longest existing symptom has been itching on the arms

located on the outside of one or both elbows. Its really more like

stinging than itching, and like RLS it has been predominantly a night

problem. I have used several cortisone based creams/ointments with

some success, but there have been occasions when this has failed to

suppress the irritation. In such instances I have commonly had

successs with ice packs.
