Guest guest
I don't know really why there's so much upset here. I take most of the off-putting messages with a huge grain of salt. As Jane Ace used to say back in the mists of time on radio, in life " you've got to take the bitter with the better " . Maybe all this stress is an outcome of living in such a fast paced, stress filled world where everyone and everything seems out of kilter. Paranoia reigns supreme. Everyone is wearing a thin skin and those of us who live with RLS are perhaps even more sensitive than most due to what we have to contend with each and every day within ourselves. The outside world doesn't understand us and we find ourselves arguing even amongst our kindred. We are forgetting how to laugh at ourselves and letting our misery get the best of us. NOT ME! Each day God gives me is a blessing. Never mind the heart disease, weight problems, RLS, world falling apart, creeping senility, etc ad nauseam. I'm full of joy at just being alive. I look forward to all my e-mails from the group and have gleaned a wealth of information and encouragement from the group in general. I have found some really nice folks here and don't want to lose touch with any of them. Just this morning I read in Proverbs 20:3 " It is to a man's honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel. " I don't know why but it seemed to fit somehow. CHEERS and love from, Jeanne (fast approaching 72 on the 21st, I'm a solstice child) and Mr. Biggles in Poultney VT where the sun is shining, the birds are singing and everything is green and beautiful. for now my limbs are at peace but who knows what the next five minutes will bring. I don't care, I'll contend with it when it happens and meanwhile Mr. Biggles and I will enjoy the day!!
