What was originally thought to be a pulled muscle of mine in February has turned out to be a bulging disc squishing a nerve, making other nerves crazy, and me too. I have taken the Medrol dose pack for 5 days and that helped, but now the Dr. has scheduled an epidural cortezone injection for next Wednesday. I like the Dr. and he knows CMT and is a pain specialist, but I am wondering if anyone has any direct personal experience with an epidural like this that they can share with me? Like did you tell the Dr. anything in particular I should that I haven't already? And not to worry, this particular problem with my bulging disc can happen to anyone especially in mid-life like me.
