Guest guest
A while back I had a big tremors surge after having cortisone injections epidurally for lower back/disc pain. I suspected that the cortisone injections might have caused the tremor surge, but 3 Drs. said " no way " . Since these injections were the only thing different about my life for 8 weeks that went inside my body, I thought " I know it's the cortisone " . So last night I was re-reading Senneff's book, and under the| 'other medical therapies' section, found a reference to cortisone and ALSO that possible side effects can cause TREMORS! Eureka! Was I amazed or what! Again, we are all different, but when I have tremors I get very upset, they are hard to get under control. Tremors are now under control and I am doing OK.Onward to Physical Therapy for my back. Am going to xerox the page and keep it in my file to show the Dr. next time. For those of you who are new, I recommmend this book: " Numb Toes and Aching Soles " - it is about coping with peripheral neuropathy. It includes a mention of CMT and other PN syndromes. Senneff wrote it and you can get it through either http://www.amazon.com or http://www.barnesandnoble.com It has become a good resource for me.
