Guest guest
Cindy, I agree, I have always thought it was just in the muscles, but I'm beginning to wonder if it's not also deep inside of the bones, because I can't press hard enough in the muscles, it seems to be even deeper, deeper, deeper, and where else can it go deeper, than clear into the bone. Maybe it's in the bone marrow, I give up. What a complicated disorder, But that could explain why you have it in your head. So far, it's not in my arms or head, nor do I get the pins and needles, but I have had times when it seems to be in my abdomin, taking my breath. I truly sympothize with you, I can't imagine how it would feel to be in my head. ( and I don't mean concentration). Guest guest
Hi June, Actually... maybe I didn't explain that right... I don't get the rls sensation in my head, only the pins and needles all over the surface of my skin, that's where my head is included. I heard one person explain their pins and needles sensation like when your arm or something falls asleep...... mine isn't like that at all, it's just like someone is literally touching the tip of a pin ever so slightly on the surface. And I agree with you....the rls does seem to go much deeper than muscular, I had never thought that it may be coming from the bone, but constricting my muscles is the only thing that seems to give relief, even though it doesn't make it go away. It sounds like I am like others in that it can start on one side of the body only...then move to the other, or sometimes it starts in my arms and moves to my legs...etc. but It ALWAYS ends up in all four. Also as with the MRI, be cautious of pain relievers when if you go to the hospital on an emergency and may need a CAT scan. I went in for a terrible migraine, they game me some pain reliever to try to get in control, and prepared for a CAT. The med they gave me totally exasperated my RLS and I tried to lay on the table but after only a few minutes of squirming jumped off the table, the tech was frustrated but there was nothing I could do. So if you really need a CAT, be careful what they give you first...or just tell them to knock you out :0) Cindy deep in bones > > >Cindy, > >I agree, I have always thought it was just in the muscles, but I'm >beginning to wonder if it's not also deep inside of the bones, because I >can't press hard enough in the muscles, it seems to be even deeper, deeper, >deeper, and where else can it go deeper, than clear into the bone.
