As far back as I can remember after I was diaagnosed with CMT, I felt

numbness in my feet - after being on them for any length of time. Then

in college, I had numbness in my arms. I say " had " because I don't have

it anymore, except if I am on my feet too much.Once I sit down and do

something sedentary, the numbness dissappears. With my arms, I would

hold them up above my head, and the numbness would go away. My CMT

symptoms come and go - always have.

Mark,

I am 5 1/2 weeks post op from upper & genio. Yes, it is normal to be

numb. My upper lip is slowly regaining feeling but my upper gums &

teeth are totally numb.

Not sure if it's normal or not Jerry, but I am almost 2 months

postop and I still am completely numb in the lower lip too, so it

must be somewhat common! I asked my os about it and he said it could

take months for the numbness to resolve. Tingles are good, means the

feeling is coming back. Alix
