On the subject of accepting help from others due to

our disability.

I do have trouble determining the right time or when I

truly need help for I'm still discovering my own

limits which may change daily depending on how I'm

feeling that day or energy or fatigue! And if it makes

things easier or less frustrating so I can focus on

other things better . . why not!

But, I have learned one thing, it helps others to cope

better with it if you do let them help. (politely let

them know you appreciate their offer to help but " this

time " you prefer to do it yourself, and you will ask

if you need help next time)Don't let pride get in the

way for after all it is friendship and relationships

that count the most! Everyone needs to feel needed!

And, I also have learned that by " giving " the

opportunity to them to help, I am " GIVING " too. It is

hard, for I have been one to be always doing for

others. . . . but to everything there is a season. . .

" a time to laugh a time to cry ; a time to give a time

to take " . . . There has to be some one to recieve if

anyone gives so. . . it's okay to be on that end at

times. Life is a circle. . . don't break the chain of

love. . . you'll get an opportunity to give to someone

and be sure you don't let it pass!

Ask God for help in knowing when you need help and

when to accept it from others without being " helpless "

but giving them a good feeling to contribute!
