Guest guest
<< I too have done many things, and when I tell of my adventures, friends jaws to fall open. >> The most adventurous time for me (since my CMT announced itself) was to go up in a hot air balloon near Sedona, Arizona to witness our son's wedding. The ceremony took place at 1500 feet in the air, over the Sedona Forest (which consists of lots of sage, cactus, and sand, and a few small spindly deciduous trees near a creek). Getting in and out of the gondola was hard because one has to climb over the 3 foot side without the aid of a step or footstool. The bride and I were grateful we were wearing pantsuits, not dresses. I'm glad I did the flight, but I doubt I'll go up again. The temperatue in Arizona stayed around 107 that week, and my feet did NOT thaw out. Grand Canyon was well worth visiting also, but we chose to view it on the IMAX screen, then see it for real from all the view points along the south side since we had already been up in the air. It was May and the north side still had snow! We also drove a section of the famous Route 66, and took a small train into the mining country, among other things. My husband likes to try to see everything when he travels. I'm sure we didn't miss much that was worth seeing in northern AZ. Guest guest
Wow. Sounds like fun. One of these days I'll tell you a few of my antics. Around the Grand Canyon and otherwise. ;0) Marc Re: Life enjoyment > From: KathleenLS@... > > > > > << I too have done many things, and when I tell of my adventures, friends > jaws to fall open. >> > > The most adventurous time for me (since my CMT announced itself) was to go up > in a hot air balloon near Sedona, Arizona to witness our son's wedding.
