Guest guest
I'm almost afraid to put this down on paper for fear that I'm jumping to a conclusion too soon ----- but I have been on Mirapex (o.25 mg - one at noon and one at bedtime) along with small amounts of Klonopin for about 10 days now and am sleeping with no Xanax or other sleep aid. I can also " lie abed " in the morning when I wake up with no twinges. Longer hours at my computer or other tasks whether sitting or standing are possible. Previously I've been on Sinemet which worked but which seemed to result in severe daytime RLS after a while, and I was also on Permax which seemed to do very little. Klonopin has been a constant for the past couple of years but, by itself, does nothing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Mirapex is finally the answer for me. Now to find out if my HMO insurance will cover it. My neurologist gave me a sample to start with -- so we'll see what the request for a prescription brings next week. With fingers crossed -- Eleanor (78) Glendale CA
