Guest guest
A funny word, voluntary, in relation to rls. But it is true, compared to other neurological movement disorders, this is voluntary.Like with a gun pointed at you, move or else. The movement you make is a reaction on the feeling, like tickling causes " voluntary " movements.I tried once to keep my feet still, no matter what.It went well for a minute, then I lost concentrating by thinking what to eat today, and off they went. So I tried again, and I was able to keep my feet on the ground. Then my body jumped off the chair! but feet still on the ground.Sticked with second glue.My partner had a good laugh. My dogs have both PMLD :) .Did you ever watch a sleeping dog? Last night I danced the night away. I rehearsed my steps,, the teacher made me a compliment, I was a fast learner, knew all the ( line) dances by heart already. One of the benefits of rls, I suppose. I am convinced though, that some of my movements are involuntary the others I just have to make. Well, I am of for another dance class, bye for now, Marleen,52, in snowy Holland
