Guest guest
Arthur, You don't even belong in this group, you and some others that believe like you, belong in a group like Yoga, Meditation or other new age self help cults that believes we can control our illnesses through " out of the body " , thought control, and concentration. You probably believe you are a god also, like Shirley McClain. If you refuse to take drugs for RLS, would you refuse to take them if you were a diabetic or had high blood pressure? You are minimizing RLS as unimportant. You are definitely saying it's in our head, and we should get off it and get a life. Yes, I am angry, angry enough to be crying, and when I'm that angry I will say what I think. You are even criticizing the research that is going on, about the possibilities of the excitability of the spinal cord. I am very impressed with that research, and I resent you making light of what NIH is doing to help us. Who do you think you are? to try to put a halt on research. And that's exactly what will happen if enough of you spout off such nonsense. I knew someone like you would come along, and fall into those lines about us controlling it ourselves so bluntly, as if you know what you are talking about. Evidently you don't have it or you would know it's not called RLA, and wouldn't take is so lightly. The only RLS community that doesn't get down on you will be the ones that think like you, and belong with you. A support group is supposed to support and sympathize with, not call us hypochondriacs, and tell us to get it all together. Some of us can't help what is happening to us you know. Depending on the responses you get from us regarding your letter, will let me know if I'm in the wrong support group. I won't need to be asked to leave.
