Guest guest
Greetings, group: Some of you didn't see this...I don't know why because there were no attachments. Just using stationery and a signature. This time I'm trying no stationery and no signature. I've really appreciated the info you all have been sharing. I will NEVER take Mirapex since I frequently experience the overwhelming urge to fall asleep anyhow, and it's VERY scary when it happens and I'm driving. I'm going to see if I can get Dr. B to prescribe the Neurontin for me because the other meds (Permax and Sinemet CR and Carbidopa/Levo??) whatever...although somewhat effective could be better. Sometimes I take vicodin for better effect. I cannot combine Permax with Vicodin though, it makes me sick (nauseated). It's ok to take with the carbo, however. I'm curious: What is dopamine and how does the RLS affect these dopamine levels? Are they important? Jodi!! Thank you for all that medication research you've done. For the third edition of the RLS Support Group book I'm adding a medications chart for easy, quick review of all the meds available. For some of them I don't have info about the side effects (they aren't shown in the narrative descriptions of the 2nd edition) and I was planning to ask Dr. B to fill in the missing info. Maybe now I won't have to do that. I'll get the missing info from the links. That was a lot of work for you and is appreciated. I've got your number, Malibu woman! And hope to talk with you soon. As soon as I quit being preoccupied with getting my business off the ground. Wishing each of you peaceful days and nights. By the way, when " Bill " and I were talking the other day, the subject of activities that put our RLS in low gear came up. I've noticed that when I'm very involved in a project -- or even a game sometimes, my knee spazzes lay low. Hooray! She has noticed a correlation to working with numbers. Hmm! Have you noticed anything similar? Makes me wonder...the mental/physical connection... Gotta go...lost my clock! Joyce
