Guest guest
Hi Rose-Marie, What a great story about your swimming son Pierre! To this day I have found swimming to be the greatest! To Pierre I say 'Go, Pierre'!!!! Swim swim, swim!!! And while were talking about swimming, does anyone else swim? I love it and feel so free in the water! Gretchen in sunny So. Guest guest
not only do i swim, but doing water aerobics is very good exercise without a lot of the negative side effects associated with other forms of exercise. my joints don't hurt, and muscle fatigue is greatly reduced. This year I am going to buy steps for it. I can't go up a ladder so I didn't get to swim. I tried once but I got stuck outside the pool then stuck inside. Never again now I get the steps. I know a CMT teen who is on the swim team for her high school. It's a terrific moral booster for her. Kat in Seattle
Guest guest
I would like to go swimming more often, but at many pools you have to walk barefoot from the changing rooms to the pool, and I cannot walk barefoot on hard surfaces due to a prominant seismoid bone (due to be removed in july). When i do get the opportunity, at a friends pool (i don't know anyone these days with a private pool) i cannot get enough of it!
