Hi, Michele here,

I just wanted all of you to know that you are all super people! The

response to my letter was fantastic, I can't thank-you enough. Since I have

had to come to terms with my CMT, it really has been a downhill battle. When

I started to need help, like picking things up off the floor, I would rather

lose my balance and fall than leave the thing there til someone came home to

pick it up. Now, I let it be.It has as much right to be on the floor as I do,

and I find my family has accepted my new feelings, in fact they are finally

seeing, for the first time, what it's like to be me, and many times do things

for me without me telling them to. In time, I plan to start walking again. We

bought a walking stick, a beautiful wood one with a rubber stopper on the

bottom and I have taken it around the house outside and in. The drawing

etc... will take time, I have to learn how to hold my pens and paintbrushes

differently and get the same effect, but that will take time.

I never knew , until now, that there are people that have the same

problems, concerns, and general feelings that I do. You are all to be

commended. You have made me feel a part and that has given me a new lease and

hope for my future.I can cope....

Thank-you, Many Blessings, Michele

, We all are struggling with one thing or another. But, we have this

great support group. In some ways we are the same, but most of us have

differening forms of CMT. I think I can say we are all here to help. Martha
