Guest guest
, et al - One of my major problems with the RLS/PLMD has been pain. Mostly in my legs, calfs, etc., but also in my hips and on really bad nights with the PLMD the hip pain actually causes groin pain. Sometimes it is unbearable and doesn't go away all day. Sometimes my " Chumpers " helps a lot. I use it every morning before I even get out of bed! What a blessing. I have had a lot of relief from this type of pain and it is much less frequent now since the doc put me on the Mirapex. He told me it was the best thing for the PLMD and I think he's right. I noticed a difference almost immediately, within a week. Coco, I'm sorry you're having such an awful night of it. I read some of this and realize how lucky I am with my meds stopping a lot of those things. I fought so hard not to take medications but when I hear stories like yours I remember that it was like that for me too. Hang in there and you can have a " pity party " anytime you want here. That's what this is all about. Also, a good cry is sometimes the best. Well, group I leave today for Rehab and I will miss reading my Digests everyday. I have a friend who is going to save and download for me so I will have a lot of reading to do when I come home. I'm supposed to be there for a month, but I will have passes. Take care everyone.
