Guest guest
Carolyn, You might try ice packs on your aching hip. Helps me for aches like that. I wear in-shoe orthotics, so they are underneath my feet. They are made of a rubbery cusiony material, they help me walk straight and cushion my feet. I can't remember if you are wearing AFOs or not. I am wondering if you could try Spenco insoles? They act as foot 'schock absorbers' inside your shoes. My runner friends told me about these years ago, before I got custom made orthotic inserts. The Spenco site is http://www.spenco.com They make all kinds of things for comfort. Any good sports store also has Spencos. I used to have a water bed. That was great.Until it leaked. Now I have a firm BeautyRest mattress and a very cushiony featherbeds on top of it.So I sort of 'sink in to bed'. Got them through The Company Store in Wisconsin somewhere(they have a catalogue)http://www.thecompanystore.com I also use Euro Square pillows, a bunch of them. They are 16 " square down pillows. Wonderful. I am a big fan of 'down' bedding! Gretchen
