It's wonderful, no need to worry about falling in the water and it's really easy on the joints, but still possible to get a good cardio workout. Most local Y's have classes... I took one in college and am doing one now in my athletic club (incidentlly, since I started doing water aerobics, without changing my diet a whole lot and not even going too regularly, sometimes as little as once a week, I have lost 40 pounds -- this took about 9 months) My only suggestion, get some water shoes, I tried without and had HUGE blisters on the bottoms of my feet after one session, made walking difficult for the nest week!
