Dear Ana, I agree with you about the deficiencies. If you decide to see a

Homeopathic Physician try to find one who is also an MD. One doesn't cancel

out the other. Both fields can work together compatibly. I'm still taking

my Permax for my RLS along with my heart medications with my doctor's

approval. Homeopathic remedies do not have any side effects and are safe to

take along with regular medications (altho they shouldn't be taken

together - at the same time).

Just make sure that like an MD you see that the Homeopath has had formal

training in that field.

Good luck and keep in touch!

Cheers!!

Ana, I take .5 mg. of Mirapex and .5 mg of Klonipin. When they aren't working

well, and not wanting to take

additional drugs, sometimes I get up and take just what you mentioned: Folic

Acid, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron and

I add amino acids and potassium. On the weekends I don't take the Klonipin and

just take .125 mg Mirapex (if it

is a " good " night) and the natural stuff. It works so far, depending upon other

factors. Some nights are worse

than others, as we all know.

I also give the natural stuff to my 14 and 15 yr old boys when their RLS acts

up. We keep Calms Forte in the

house for the boys, too. It quit working for me, but it still works for them

sometimes. I get the Calms at the

health food store in our town. GNC also has it.

Canada is a long drive from down near Houston, so I'll take your word about Dr.

Rona.

I just sent a message to Jeanne about something I heard of on this line and

decided to tell all of this. I talked

to my DO yesterday and he suggested a product called Triamins. 2 @ bedtime.

(for adults) He said it's hard to

find. But I don't have easy access to the herb store so I asked what was in it?

Main ingredients are

Calcium,Mag.,and Potassium. I tried it last night and it worked. I use one

particular brand mostly. Solgar. And

no I don't sell it. You'd have to buy it in a herb store just like I do. I

took it at 9:00P. and then again at

about 12:00. Slept just fine. I also picked up the Butchers Broom and started

it. Haven't been able to tell any

difference yet. Will keep you posted for you that are interested. COCO

I'm going tomorrow to the herb store to try to find this stuff. I have to get

off the Klonipin. I'll report back if

it works.
