Hi

If it were me I would go as long as possible. However, Darvocet is an

Opiate, narcotic analgesic, and it is much different from a Benzodiazpine

class of medication, such as valium, zanax or clonipin. These have a very

long half life, and require a person to come off slower than opiates. When I

stopped taking Darvocet, I felt it in a few days drastically. It was

uncomfortable, but my DR said it was not dangerous. Good luck, and lean on

us for support. Elaine, Malibu
