Guest guest
Jeanne and All, I think there is really something valid here - reading and responding to these group messages are the one sure way to alleviate even the worst rls attacks. I think it goes beyond just the concentration thing - it's sort of like a mental " detoxification " - and isn't that what psychoanalysis is all about? ne, 59, Lawrenceville, NJ _____________________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi Jeanne, ne & all, Writing is definitely therapeutic. It is one of many forms of releasing negative or positive energy, whichever way you want to look at it. It is just as freeing as saying " your peace " when someone is ticking you off, for example. Or writing poetry when your soul is at peace. Or even art therapy as a stepping stone for small children who cannot verbalize their emotions. All of these are healthy outlets and definitely " detoxifying " as ne mentioned. This list is an example of writing as therapy and I know it's made a tremendous difference in my life , i.e. for the better. :-) The RLS may not be cured, but my spirits have greatly improved. and on that note, thanks to all for participating in 50% of the therapy: reading :-) Ana Casinha,34 Woodbridge, Ont. where blessed rain is upon us ... :-)
